BinaryTo is built so that what you convert stays with you. This page lists what we do collect, who helps us run the site, and how to reach us.

What you type, paste or scan

Every converter runs in your browser. The text, binary and numbers you enter are not sent to our server. The image scanner reads your photo on your device too: the image is never uploaded. The first time you scan, your browser downloads the text recognition engine from our site.

What we collect

• Page views: which page was opened, the referring site and rough location, through Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies) and PostHog. Page addresses are sent without anything you typed.
• Emails you send us: kept until we've dealt with them.

There are no accounts, so we hold no names, passwords or profiles.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the site: hosting, analytics and email forwarding (Cloudflare) and product analytics (PostHog). We don't sell personal information.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Email support@binaryto.com.
